I'm glad you liked the post
No way you watch them too! Mangowm and sway/i3 have slightly different feature sets. Mango has more options for how you tile windows which was the main reason for me. So for example I have the master stack layout so I dont have to manually move around windows. Mango also has built in animations that are pretty much on par with hyprland but can always be disabled.
Although on mango some of the waybar support for workspaces isn't completely there. I had to make a custom widget because the default one would always show all 9 workspaces which I only use 5. Mango also only recently got tablet support like a month ago. I couldn't get window capture to work on mango either but that may just be a configuration error.
Overall, I prefer mango because of its better tiling, and whenever I need to do something that requires screen recording I just switch back to i3 or something. It's worth giving a shot if you find that you're missing some of those features from sway!
np thanks, the image compression is sort of meant to be a theme of the site, but i think a couple of places it goes too far. I also totally forgot to write about storefront ratings, you make a good point about it affecting how people see a game. Especially games that come out rough but fix themselves later.
